Day 4: MOR Meat!

For Day 4 of my series "A Month of Autumn Wartime Recipes & Food", I found this lovely fall-themed ad for MOR canned ham in the November 1944 Ladies Home Journal. I love what it says: "When there's a hint of winter in the air, then's the time to use your handy cans of Wilson's MOR in tempting hot dishes." Well, of course it's the perfect time! haha! You can make it for a "Junior Commando's Lunch" or for Game Day! I wonder if this was a competitor brand for SPAM...
